Presentations and Public Speaking

Dr. Gold is an invited lecturer and speaker.  A description of over 50 such presentations is available on request. The focus of her speaking engagements draw on her expertise in Forensic Psychiatric Assessment:

Employment Litigation including Sexual Harassment and Discrimination

Suicidology, including suicide alleged to be associated with litigated events. In addition, gun violence and suicide is a Public Health issue about which Dr. Gold has written and spoken extensively. 

Psychiatrically disabling conditions (including employment-relevant), impact on co-workers and workplace safety.

Psychiatric Diagnosis in Litigation

Over the course of her 30 year career Dr. Gold has routinely been invited to speak to Bar Association and attorney groups on the role of the forensic psychiatrist as an expert witness in civil litigation. 

Books

Dr. Gold has authored over 50 books, chapters, peer-reviewed articles, and served as Editor of the most prominent publications and textbooks of Forensic Psychiatry in the field.  Further, she is an Associate Editor at American Psychiatric Association Publishing, Inc.  

 

The focus of Dr. Gold’s publishing is issues relevant to Employment Litigation, Personal Injury Litigation and Education in Forensic Psychiatry to doctors and lawyers. She is a thought leader in her field.
